Learn how to integrate the Sakura Arms Promo Pack into your deck with our step-by-step guide. Includes tips on customizing Vigor Cards and avoiding common mistakes.
Quick answer
Use the Sakura Arms Promo Pack to replace or supplement your base Vigor Cards with customized action point trackers. Each of the 18 cards features a different goddess, letting you personalize your gameplay without changing rules.
Why customize your Vigor Cards?
The Promo Pack gives you 18 unique Vigor Cards, each with a different goddess artwork. They work exactly like the standard action point trackers included in the base game, so swapping them in is purely cosmetic. This is a low-risk way to make your deck feel more personal without altering balance.
When to keep the originals
If you play in official tournaments or with players who prefer a uniform look, the promo cards might stand out. They have the same function, but the different art could be a distraction. In casual play, they add variety and are a fun conversation starter.
Step-by-step integration guide
- Check your base game contents: Open your Sakura Arms base game and locate the standard Vigor Cards. Count them to know how many you'll replace. The Promo Pack contains 18 cards, which is a full replacement set for most configurations. Common mistake: Assuming the Promo Pack adds extra cards. It replaces the standard set, not supplements it.
- Swap in the promo cards: Remove the standard Vigor Cards from your deck and insert the promo cards in the same order. Each promo card has the same action point tracking function, so no rule changes are needed. Checkpoint: Ensure each promo card is face-up and oriented correctly for tracking.
- Test your deck balance: Play a practice round with the promo cards to confirm they work seamlessly. Pay attention to any visual confusion—if the art distracts you, consider using them only for specific goddess-themed games. Common mistake: Forgetting that the art is cosmetic only. The cards have no gameplay effect beyond tracking.
